PUBLIC ART UPDATE:
The Energy Loop was reinstalled in June after 3 years since it was removed for restoration. The new location is in a County-owned plaza along S. College Street across from the courthouse.
There are four new public art pieces being installed in pack square park that will become the property of the City after completion – the fountain created by Hoss Hailey by the Vance Monument; the tile work on the stage by Kathy Tripplett; the pergola above the stage by Hoss Hailey; and a railing on mid-block. Another work by Randy Schull is on hold until the pavilion are completed. Urban Trail pieces in pack square park are scheduled to be replaced in August and September including the pigs & turkeys and the girl at the water fountain.
