City of Asheville launches courtesy call system on utility bills

Water bill late? You may get a courtesy call from the City of Asheville’s Customer Service Department, as a reminder. Starting today, the City will make a call to any customer whose bill is seven days late. Soon, the message may come as an email.

There are many ways to pay your combined utility statement:

• Online on the City of Asheville website.
• In person on the first floor of Asheville City Hall.
• Customers can also make a call 828-251-1122 to make a payment over the phone or to reach a Customer Service Representative during office hours.
