Background

Since 2019, several major and minor improvements were completed at the Linwood Crump Shiloh Complex including the community center building, ballfield area, and park spaces throughout the recreation complex.  Those included:

  • New playground and outdoor fitness equipment  
  • Installation of state-of-the-art interactive play equipment
  • New outdoor basketball court
  • Repaved outdoor walking path
  • Removal of old roof and installation of new roof
  • Removal of fencing around perimeter of basketball court
  • Demolition of a free-standing wall in front of the center
  • New landscaping
  • Ballfield improvements including new fencing, bleachers, dugouts, and LED energy-efficient lighting
  • Removal of concession building
  • Installed park lighting
  • Renovated and expanded parking lot
  • New sign at street entry
  • Improvements to front entry of center
  • Gym floor replacement
  • Replacement of fitness center floor and equipment
