Urban Forestry Commission

The Urban Forestry Commission will hold a special meeting, Friday, Aug. 2 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., in the 1^st Floor Conference Room, City Hall, 70 Court Plaza, Asheville, N.C.

The purpose of the meeting is to deliberate and vote to support proposed ordinance amendments affecting the City of Asheville’s urban forest, specifically the following:  (1) Chapter 20- Trees on Public Property; (2) Chapter 7, Article 19 – Tree Canopy Preservation; (3) Chapter 7, Article 11, Section 3 – Landscaping  Standards; and (4) Chapter 2, Article 3, Division 7 – Urban Forestry  Commission.
