Walton Street Pool update:
Asheville Parks & Recreation maintenance staff have encountered an issue that will result in the delay of the opening of the Walton Street Pool.
The pump and the motor have broken and need to be replaced. The parts are on order and we have installation scheduled to be done as soon as possible. Following that, staff will need to fill, add chemicals and balance, cycle, then have inspections completed.
Because of this, the estimated date of opening of the Walton Street Pool is on June 27.
