Public Facilities Management

The Public Facilities Management Division plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing Asheville’s municipal buildings throughout their useful lives. This team is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, upkeep, safety, and future planning of 60+ facilities, including the operations of select city operations and public safety facilities. This team supports the City of Asheville’s 100% Renewable Energy Initiative through installation and maintenance of solar energy systems, energy efficient controls and building automation in municipal buildings.
