That accounts for 26% of the total $68 million dollar CIP budget. Desired Trend: Increase in funds allocated and percentage of total funds for sustainability/climate related projects. Methodology: Analysis of descriptions of Fiscal Year CIP projects to determine yes/no relevance to specific criteria including energy efficiency, fleet electrification, green infrastructure, renewable energy, resilience development, infrastructure hardening, and habitat development. Summed total project funds determined to be relevant. Future metric development plans include expanding the documentation methodology to track sustainability and climate spending through the City’s operating budget.
