Introducing the “Report an Issue Form” now available on every Board, Commission, and Council Committee page. Developed in collaboration with Code with Asheville, the form provides community members a dedicated platform to report any challenges encountered while accessing or participating in City public meetings.
On each Committee page, you will find the following prompt:
Have an issue with participating in a board or commission meeting, in person or virtually? Use this form to let us know!
Using the new feature:
In case of an issue accessing or participating in a public board meeting, community members can complete the form on the City’s webpage(s). The Clerk’s Office will promptly receive a notification and investigate the reported issue. Updates and responses to the concern will be shared on the dynamic spreadsheet that is accessible through the form.
It’s important to note that the form exclusively pertains to public board meetings managed by the City of Asheville and does not encompass subcommittees, engagement events, and/or ad hoc meetings at this time. Your feedback is invaluable in enhancing the accessibility and inclusivity of our public meetings.
