East Asheville neighborhood meeting to be held May 18

The Neighborhood Advisory Committee of the City of Asheville invites residents and businesses of east Asheville to a neighborhood meeting Monday, May 18 at 7 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 290 Old Haw Creek Road.

Join the committee for an opportunity to hear updates on city services, express your ideas for improving your neighborhood and share neighborhood accomplishments. This is the second meeting the Neighborhood Advisory Committee has held in East Asheville and it will provide an opportunity for neighborhoods to present updates on neighborhood activities and concerns presented at the 2013 meeting.

The Neighborhood Advisory Committee’s mission is to foster effective communication between and among Asheville’s neighborhoods and with the City of Asheville.
