NCDOT Maintained Road Closures
- West Chapel Road at U.S. 25
- Meadow Road at Victoria Road
Please note: Public Works crews are monitoring flood-prone areas 24/7 during this weather event and will implement road closures as needed. To report flooding in your area, please call Public Works at 828-259-5852 during regular business hours and the non-emergency line at 828-252-1110 after normal business hours. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1.
Community Centers (updated 1/10 10:21 a.m.):
- Inclement Weather Childcare with indoor activities, crafts, and get-to-know-you games available for $5 per child at Linwood Crump Shiloh Community Center beginning at 9 this morning. Each child or teen should bring their own lunch and drink, but snacks are provided.
- Linwood Crump Shiloh Community Center will close at 6 p.m. All other community centers are open on a regular schedule.
- Sports and athletics practices at Linwood Crump Shiloh Community Center are cancelled.
- Parks, greenways, and facilities closed:

- Azalea Dog Park
- Carrier Park
- French Broad River Park
- Hominy Creek Greenway
