What do you want to know, Asheville? Just ask newly upgraded SimpliCity 2.0 search tool

From trash collection days to crime, from properties to neighborhoods, Asheville residents have been able to look up local data by address on SimpliCity since it launched in 2015.

Now, with SimpliCity 2.0, residents can access even more information, including integrated topic dashboards like the City budget and capital and bond projects, with many more to come. A beta version launched Feb. 5 with a banner on the current site inviting users to try it out.

With the feedback we’ve received, the City’s Internet Services Department is ready to make the final switch. On April 10, SimpliCity 2.0 will officially replace SimpliCity 1.0  and SimpliCity.asheville.gov will direct to SimpliCity 2.0. So please check it out and let us know what you think!

Below is an informational video that details SimpliCity’s features created when the City first launched the site. While SimpliCity 2.0 has more robust offerings, this video is a helpful introduction to those new to the tool.
