4/25/2025 | 170, WE1, WE2 | 408, 409, 410, 411, 442, 443, 444 | Due to a gas leak on Tunnel Rd, these routes will detour on their outbound trips by taking exit 6 onto I-240 and getting off at exit 7 to continue their normal routes. The same will happen in reverse on inbound trips. |

Starting Monday, 4/7, route S5 will return to its pre-Helene route. Rather than turning around at the Walmart on Bleachery, it will once again serve Swannanoa River Rd, Wood Ave, and Cedar St. See a link to the full map here. Though the route will return to normal, the following stops remain closed due to being inaccessible or unsafe:

Due to an inaccessible roadway, Route N2 is unable to serve 4 stops on Beaverdam beginning at Faircrest Rd. The following stops at the end of the line are temporarily closed until further notice:

Due to on-going road closures caused by Tropical Storm Helene, route WE1 continues to be modified. All other routes have returned to their original, pre-Helene routes and schedules. See current changes below, and click here to view the new route schedule and map.

8/27/24 Until Further Notice | W5, WE1 & WE2 | 300 & 302 | Road closures continue on Patton Ave, detours are in place for Routes W5, WE1 & WE2. Bus Stops 300(Patton Ave at Otis St) and 302(Patton Ave at Clingman Ave) will be missed. Estimated time of closure is 24 hours a day until further notice. Please note, closures are subject to change due to weather.
In lieu of Bus Stops 300 & 302 passengers may board outbound buses at the ART Station located at 49 Coxe Ave. |

Due to staff shortages, customer service hours of operation at the Transit Station at 49 Coxe Ave. may differ from regular hours. Until further notice, expect the following changes:
To avoid coming to the transit station for customer service-related activities when staff is unavailable, please plan your trip outside the hours listed above and within the regularly scheduled hours of operation. Customer service being unavailable means that riders are unable to purchase tickets, submit and process discounted pass applications, reach the help number at 828.253.5691, and receive information on routes and schedules, among other services. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to return to regular hours as soon as possible.
