What we do

Hop on the ART

ART (Asheville Rides Transit) provides bus service throughout the City of Asheville and to the Town of Black Mountain (see individual route schedules for exact times) from around 5:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Monday – Saturday and from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and Holidays.

  • Stay up to date on any service changes that may affect your travel plans by checking the Service Alerts page.
    • To get notices via text or email about changes, sign up for iRide email alerts, or text “NextART” followed by the bus stop ID to 41411.

Looking for real time information on your bus arrival time? You’ve got options!

Visit our real-time tracking page on the web, open GoogleMaps and click the bus stop nearest to you, download the Moovit app, or dial 828-253-5691 and press 1. You can use your touch-tone telephone, mobile device (standard cell phone or smartphone), or web-enabled computer to see exactly where the bus is and when it will arrive at your stop.
